London Short Film Festival (LSFF)

Updated: Apr 19, 2022

Founded in 2003, the London Short Festival (LSFF) is a BAFTA-qualifying, internationally regarded independent short film festival.

Approaching its nineteenth year, the LSFF is the premiere UK destination for cutting-edge homegrown and international short films.

Each January, the LSFF hosts ten days of short forms, conversations, and multidisciplinary curations.

Every year, the festival presents between 250 to 500 British and international films, collaboratively programmed down from more than 5000 open submissions, alongside Special Events and an industry offering of workshops, panels, and discussions for filmmakers and workers.

This year, the festival welcomes a prestigious jury to judge the Best UK and Best International Short Film awards. It is also excited to announce the return of the TAASH Award for Comedy (sponsored by Sky Arts) and its regular low-budget short award, judged by Intermission Youth.
