In 2013, UNIC (International Union of Cinemas), the world's largest cinema association, recognized CGV Mars Cinema Group as deserving of the "International Cinema Group of the Year" award for its services and technological advancements. It is Turkey's biggest movie chain.
CGV strives to enhance its visitors' cinematic experiences by constantly monitoring advancements in cinema technology and introducing them to the Turkish market. With this dedication, CGV has become the first Turkish movie theatre chain to finish digitizing all of its audio and video systems.
In November 2015, CGV Mars Cinema Group, which includes all IMAX cinemas in Turkey, made history by introducing 4DX technology to Turkish moviegoers.
