TRT, the Istanbul Media Academy, and the Eyüp Municipality work together to run the Eyüpsultan Film Academy (EFA) training program. The program seeks to provide theoretical and technical training for the TV and film industries to a new generation of filmmakers. With its nature of combining the knowledge and assets of the municipality, the academia and the tv and film industry, it creates a perfect combination to equip the students with the best possible practical and theoretical knowledge.
You can obtain education from the EFA in the Eyüpsultan Culture and Art Center.
The Eyüp Culture and Art Center, which the Eyüp Municipality constructed on the edge of the Golden Horn in Istanbul, has three halls: a large ballroom with seating for 650 people, a wedding hall with seating for 300 guests, and a theatre with seating for 400. The centre also has areas where exhibitions and artistic activities will take place. The "Eyüp Culture and Art Center" project by architect Emre Arolat won in the ArkiPARC2013 Municipality Application Category.
There is also a theatre with a stage set up for an act to be performed by one or more actors in front of the audience. It is a kind of theatre that merges humour with tragedy. Drama can be composed in three to five acts, as well as in prose and poetry.
