The university's Department of Film and Television provides students with a thorough education program that includes both the theoretical and practical skills needed for a professional and academic career.
The goal of our department is to give students the knowledge, training, and abilities necessary to produce and analyze fiction and non-fiction audio-visual works for film, television, radio, and new media.
In order to address the demands of the media and entertainment industries, the program aims to educate experts. In the film and television industries, our alumni hold a variety of jobs, including those as directors (of movies, advertisements, or TV series), directors of photography, scriptwriters, editors, sound designers, television programmers, and producers of movies and commercials.
The bachelor's degree takes 4 academic years and takes place mostly in English. The eligibility criteria are: general secondary education certificate, minimum score of high school diploma 50 success, a copy of high school diploma and transcript of records scores both in English or Turkish, a copy of passport, and foreign language exam results.
Possible careers for students of the department are: directors and producers, writers and researchers, cinematographers and camera operators, visual effects artists, sound designers and picture editors.
