The Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF) was founded in 2011, and it is an international film festival that takes place annually in York, UK, at the beginning of November.

The ASFF is a hotbed for fresh ideas and talent discovery. It’s a destination to experience the power of the craft of cinema. Aesthetica is a key event to explore new cinema and original filmmaking.
Each year, the ASFF is thrilled to see its Official Selection of filmmakers win – and be nominated for – prestigious awards, including the BAFTAs and Academy Awards.
The 12th edition of the ASFF will run from the 1st until the 30th of November, 2022, in York, UK, and online.
